To provide designs that truly work as intended requires an intimate understanding of vessel operations. Our naval architects have gained experience working aboard ships and in shipyards. We partner with owners and operators to design vessels that are ideally suited to a specific purpose by applying engineering solutions to meet the expressed needs of each client. Also, as naval architects and marine engineers, we seek to improve our design practices in order to benefit the environment. Examples include minimizing the use of hazardous materials and environmental contaminates in the design while seeking ways to minimize air emissions, energy use and discharges to water. We also look for ways to maximize use of recycled and recyclable material as well as rapidly renewable and regional materials.
